with a strong focus in ship building, ship repair and ship chartering.
This company was founded by Agus Sudimen in 1977.
We build, repair, and
also for charter of fibreglass, steel and aluminium small and medium
vessels of up to 55.60 meter in length, with excellent service and high
safety standard.
PTBCS owns and
operates a 40,000 sqm shipyard located in Samarinda, East Borneo,
Indonesia. We also own and operate more than 100 boats across
Indonesia.
With more than 30 years
of valuable experience in maritime business, we have built various
types of good construction vessels to meet your business’s needs such as
utility tug boat, crew boat, landing craft and high speed vessel. All
of our vessels are built with quality materials and according to BKI
rule/ class. Added to that, our vessels are managed, operated and
regularly maintained by our professional and experienced human resources
to ensure safe, cost-effective and on-time delivery schedule.
We provide ship
chartering services to customers mostly in oil and gas, mining, freight
forwarding, crew transportation, and marine civil construction sector.
The company has International Safety Management (ISM) Code certification issued by Department of Sea Communication, ISO 9001 : 2000 and is also ISPS Code certified.

of tenders awarded from offshore industry giants such as Total
Indonesie (34 years) , Chevron , BP, PHE, Vico , Schlumberger, Medco
Energy, etc. and 24 hour boat services and 3 workshops in Mahakam river

PTBCS’s performance
concept also involves reliable after-sales services. Our after-sales
services include training/ consultation on maintenance, spare-parts
supply, guarantee for the hull. Moreover, we have periodical visits
based on appointments with customers.
You can use our
vessels for a trip-base charter (a trip from one location to a
designated destination) or a long-term charter (a month or even a full
year use). Our vessels are insured by reliable insurance company in case
of possible lost or damages caused by any unexpected accidents within
the terms of contract.
